Afrowest is an organisation committed to the dissemination of values and rights among West African migrants, as well as to the promotion of diversity and interculturality.
Against school failure with Afrowest
Its project STOP SCHOOL FAILURE represents the essence of the association's projects. In its local aspect in Spain, it aims to obtain the collaboration of public institutions so that migrant families from West African countries (such as Senegal, Gambia or Mali) with school-age children do not interrupt the educational cycle of their children, most of whom were born in Spain, by taking them to their countries of origin in order to bring them closer to their cultures, since on their return to Spain they are unable to obtain professional qualifications. JOVI collaborates with them to provide school materials to Senegalese migrant families in Spain.
